The EuroRally Champion Q&A on ninja grapefruit talks with Kevin Hassall, executive producer on Oxygen's upcoming rally racing game: "We wanted to create a lightning-fast rally game that is easy to pick up and play but also one that offers an ultra-realistic physics simulation with the maximum depth possible. One of the key goals we've delivered on is to offer all of the adrenaline and emotion of an arcade racer with the realism of a true sim."

"In EuroRally Champion, we believe we have created a true "arcade-feel sim".

And is there ANY GUARANTEE at all that Richard Burns Rally is realistic, as well as being difficult? Whose word do we take that it is?
Just posing the question.

DoctorDiffs, the fact that it's already out on ps2 and xbox is a good indication. Also the many (p)reviews of the PC version...
I think it's more than safe to say RBR is onto a winner. But what does Richard Burns Rally have to do with this? |

What RBR has to do with this is that's being held up as the gold standard now.
And what I meant was, however much you may enjoy it, how do you know it's realistic? A simulation is an easy thing to get wrong, even if you load it up with detail and research. So what's the standard for judgement, and why the cynicism that EuroRally Champion can't make something which is both authentic and accessible?
