yes. you download the nt2003 one, install it, install the nt04 update, install the folder mover, and then i think youre set. i know godaddy had a site a while back www.godaddy.cjb.net that helped with the truck series. |

What folder mover? I'm assuming the truck mod needs to be installed in the same directory as NT2004, just under season03, right? Also, I got 3 "unable to read file" errors during installation of the 2003 mod, hope that's normal... |

This is the way i did it
I installed the cts mod for o3 and directed it to my Nascar thunder tm 2004 folder
after it finished i right clicked on the shortcut and changed the line
"C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NASCAR Thunder TM 2004\NASCAR_Thunder_2003.exe" config=configcts.ini
To
"C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NASCAR Thunder TM 2004\NASCAR_Thunder_2004.exe" config=configcts.ini
That way it points to the 04 exe you notice the number i changed above.
2003 to 2004.exe
Then go to find target on the shortcut and it will take you to the main folder.
Their will be a season03 folder pull it to you desktop and take both the ctsvehicles folder and the ctsdrivers folder and put them in the season04 folder.
Then I ran the cts04 update
It worked for me that way so i hope that helps
If you start your game and its wc cars
open the original config.ini and copy from GRIDSIZE22 down to the bottom and paste that into the configcts.ini from GRIDSIZE22 down and save your configcts. You will have to do that anytime you change drivers for your video card..
Goodluck! |

I followed mbj's advice and works like a dream. In fact crazygameworld.com has started a truck league and seems to be going well so far. Looking for some good subs though to race with us in the event a league member cant make it. So let me go rant in the suggestions thread for Nascar 2004 now. A six pack of beer and a pack of smokes should get me through posting in there. Catch ya all on the track. We are located in the browser as MTCO.com Dual DS3 For Nextel Cars. Our truck server is a private server.

I think the Craftsman mod sounds awsome. But, if I download it will it mess the game up so the cars and trucks race together? or is it almost like 2 seperate games with the trucks racing trucks and cars racing cars?

Install the truck mod to your nascar 2004 file. Once installed go into your nascar folder default is c:\program files\ea sports\nascar thunder look for season03 file go in that file cut those files and paste them to your season04 file it will ask to over write say yes then install the truck mod 2004 update go in look for icon CTS for NT2004 highlight right click then send copy to desk top I had all the problems you descibed the mod does work... |

In the 2004 Craftaman Trucks Series the speeds of the trucks won't go over 140 MPH can someone tell me why.

Probably the way you have your truck geared. I think the trucks are slightly slower than the cars in real life anyways. Shouldn't be that much slower though.
