Hello - dusted off the old N3 and wheels and runnin some laps. But we want to race against each other. We have 2 sometimes 3 PCs in my house connected via a home lan into a router to the internet. We don't want to race online yet (need a lot of practice first). But we want to race just against each other on the lan. Is this possible? Haven't been able to figure out the set up for multiplayer without going via the internet. Any help will be much appreciated!! Thanks!!
I have raced LAN before with 3 computers. I am not 100% sure but I beleive one pc hosts with only the tcp/ip box checked and then the other pcs should be able to see the server when they click connect. They should only have the tcp/ip box checked as well and you all must be on the same workgroup. Email and let me know if this worked.
