nkZone released 3 new movies of netkar, featuring a Ferrari 360 Modena drifting through the streets of Vancouver, a Formula Renault 2000 driving around Oschersleben and another Ferrari Modena taking it up against a real Lotus Elise.

Love the videos, especially the real life comparison. I do find it strange though, watching the Fer, going from zero grip to good grip in just a few corners strange, and that is just me watching...Sure cold tyres vs hot makes a difference, but so fast?
Usually such a thing would be hard to notice, by just looking.
Half of that drifting, after gaining grip, shows the driver struggeling to loose it hehe
Anyway, great looking stuff! |

You`re not the first one to notice that it`s easier to drive in reality than in games... I think it`s the matter of limited feedback in games: no g-forces, lack of certain sounds (suspension, tyres, cam valves ringing at redline ), etc.
