Speaking of controls, even on the keyboard (although we don�t recommend it) Pro Race Driver is manageable and fun. If you�ve got a gamepad, however � use it. Better yet, if you�re one of those lucky gamers with their own racing wheel setup, you�re in for a real treat as the game has solid support for a wide range of wheels. We tested the game with Logitech�s MoMo Racing Wheel and the game was just a blast to play. The game allows for full button and axis customization and needed no calibration whatsoever.

ok i've had enough.. i'm about to gon insane.. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY ARE WE POSTING THESE POSITIVE REVIEWS OF THIS HEAP OF SHIT GAME?!?!!?
Clearly codemasters is paying out large sums of moey to these magazines, as the comments they make range from the controversial, to the blatant beyond belief..
Good physics!??! /me screams.. Ask anyone who even knows somebody who played a real sim once, and they will tell you Pro Race Driver is a JOKE... Its horrid.. It shares the same crap physics engine as every other bloody codemasters game since Toca 1.. I used to be toca 1 world champion too so I know..
Good controls? Have they actually TRIED it with a wheel? Its ridiculous.. Nearly impossible to drive.. Incredibly, this 'sim' is best played with keyboard or game pad.. omfg.
I am getting sick of all these reviews..
Its an Arcade game.. Codemasters needs to accept that THIS IS OK.. Arcade games have their place.. But when arcade games start trying to masquerade as proper sims, i'm going to loose it. |

Agreed, for crying out loud stop posting namby pamby kiddy reviews of Race Driver, its obvious none of them have played it for more than a few minutes, at least not with a wheel. Are they posted by Codemasters??
Heres my review, Graphics good, Sound good, fun factor ok, sim factor poor, but would be 100 times better if they sorted out the Absolutely Shiite steering and AI which I doubt they ever will.
And forget about the steering/handling hacks thats no good playing against the AI drivers, and who wants to race online when everyone is cheating or accusing u of cheating with hacked physics!
