You can choose to play a single-track competition or a full championship set of 24 races, or get behind the wheel for a long career mode where you have to balance your prize money against travel expenses, upgrades, and repairs. Several of the drivers and their cars are locked off at the beginning and it takes the career mode to make them available for the other modes.
