I'm new around here, but a member over at NitroSim for quite a while, I just made a post over there about all the nastyness over the screenshots which were posted here and just thought it would be a good idea to copy it to here to so............
Erm.....I don't want to get involved in a slanging match here, but I think you'll all find that if you actually bothered reading the license agreement that you accepted when you installed the game, you would find that any screenshots that you take, would actually belong to emotorsports under current intellectual copyright law! (Unless you radically altered the images in some way, thus making them more your work than theirs)
I think its about time all this ******** stopped! If anyone is in breach of intellectual copyright, it is the guys who posted the screenshots in the first place. These images do not belong to you! You didn't in anyway design or fabricate these images! So why don't emotorsports have a problem with the pics posted here? Because they realise its good promotion for the game!
People breach copyright all the time, but as long as it has no adverse affect on the copyright owner and their business and property, very little is done about it! And most of you guys will have done it at some time recently I have no doubt! There really is no need for all this nasty stuff between you guys. Whether morally what was done at BHmotorsports was right, and wether anyone sending them images should or should not have done it, it really isn't going to affect anyone here at Nitrosim in a negative manner. It can only really serve to promote the new game to a wider audience!
These are my personal views on the subject, they in no way reflect the views of my team, or any website with which I may be associated.
Sorry for the rant, but I just had to say something logical on the subject.

It was just one of those things that happens from time to time. None's fault really. Some words were said before we explaind what happened. It's all in the past now.

Thank Jure, I'm really glad that you and Bill where sensible with this, there was just way to much sh1t being slung by others who weren't using their heads. The sim racing world is only a small community (relayive) and there's no reason we all shouldn't get along.....
