I found this on a German board, it is said to be a translation of a French reply from Ubi: "We do understand your impatience waiting to hear news of when the F1RC patch will be released. The posting of this patch online has been deferred due to the feedback received from many users and in order to address as many issues (bugs) as possible and so improve the game. The patch is currently in the hands of the various development teams charged to make the modifications. Also understand that it is not in our own interest to disappoint our faithful players but nonetheless, the technical constraints still impose on us the need for additional time (to complete patch). We would thus ask you to indulge us with a little more patience and be assured that we are doing everything in our capacity to accelerate the process. Cordially Sce Consumers Ubi Software" Games.de says that at E3 Ubi announced that there would be no patch and no addon, just F1RC2.
