Probably old question but could not find in forums.
My question is what causes this message when connected to multiplayer server?
message appears 18 seconds after putting car in gear.
running viste 64 bit
all programs set to admin permissions.
have all the updates & current Leverage.

Apparently 24 of us have same issue, but no fix posted.
Re installed, same issue.
Did no over clocking here, no need with my quad core.
no modifications, just straight upgrade from the off the dvd version.
V1.4.2 & ARCA V 1.142.5
runs great when I host or race single player.
Runs great online on someone elses server all the way up till I strap in car..18 seconds later. server message pops up.
can still navigate back to garage and everyplace else.

Apparently it's with the Rfactor type programs (arca very similar)
ARCA and Rfactor run great over hamachi multiplayer.
maybe this is a clue.

I think you missed the point.
Games hosted over hamachi run GREAT!!!!!!!
Games hosted over game servers have the message "Waiting for server" 20 seconds after getting into car.

Again thank you.
No over clocking on this end. Quad processor quite fast enough. Never have never will.
Removing Hamachi did not work either.
Reinstalled and went back to racing.
Will keep looking though

Ok everyone,
my persistance paid off.
Here is the fix to the "waiting for server message"
update the net card driver.
Thats it!!!
that little driver was causeing all my pain!!!
