well those sort of error logs do not help figuring out the problem. Something is just messed up. Not necessarily because of Essentials. Just try reinstalling everything. Delete options.cfg from the mod folder if such exists and try again.

It is looking for a ui.res (which are screens).Somehow,either the install didn't complete,or was missing a ui.res.If I remember correctly...the UMP mod,went through a long process of copying files...so my guess is that it didn't fully complete it's install.Seemed like the install took close to 5 minutes to run through it's processes with the UMP mod.A re-install of the mod is probably in order.
If not....just copy a ui.res from another mod (or out of the "run" folder)

i just installed this with vista i got to my desktop icon hit the mod launcher then in the drop box i choose one of the mods i installed it then brings up the folder. i then click on folder and all the files for the 2006 mod are in there i tried to highlight and double click on a few of the files in there thinking it would run the game i got this message when i clicked on the shortcut for nh2k6
the drive or network connection that the short cut 'NH06.LINK' refers to is unavalable. make sure your disk is properly incerted or networ recourses is available, and then try again
i know i dont have the game but i did everything i thought was asked first i installed essentials then track packs then the 06 car mod then tried to run it what am i doing wrong by the way i am using vista 64 bit. any suggestions on how to get this going thanks in advance ? |

ok well here is what i have figured out for myself the essectial files install on vista in program files c drive folder names hasbro
the mods install in program files (86) and the track packs are click stream and they install in file structure program files (86) as well.
when you look for them it dont show cause in reality there is no run folder but when you load up essentials it detects the tracks even though there not visible to the eye.
im asuming that all there parts in a perfect world would install in c drive program files hasbro then when you load the essentials program all files are in there and that iw why i am crashing.
i tried to move the mods into the c programs hasbro folder were essentials is but then the progran dont reconize it as for the tracks nothing i can do there any sugestions ? |
