Hi all, I went to the controller options, filter settings, and noticed there was an option about rise and fall rate of the steering, throttle and brake. It says you can alternate this if you have jerky movements... now when I put the throttle flat to the floor in RBR I do get jerky movements, and what I wan't to know is how do you tell how to change the rise and fall rate to suit your controller? Becuase I have no idea.
Thanks. |

Please someone, it's really ruining the game with the screen jerking, jittering and being quite unclear at times. This topic has been viewed over 170 times; surely someone must have an idea? |

" the screen jerking, jittering and being quite unclear at times"? The way you describe it it doesn't sound like a problem with the filtering of pedals.
And as far as I can recall, I very rarely step on the pedals to their limit. I tend to be very gentle to prevent sudden and uncontrollable reactions of the car.
You should really describe your problems better.
Anyway, filters on the pedals should make them less sensible so that you can drive more smoothly. |

How do I save replays so I can put them on youtube? Because i've saved a replay, but I don't know how to get them up on the web.
I think you might see what I mean if I can show you first hand. |

Well I just looked at the Fraps software and you have to buy it so I can't get it at the moment.
Giorgio; I don't know how I can explain in better. Basically at certain times when racing the screen goes quite unclear, it goes blurry and the picture is not very sharp. I was thinking, do you think it could be the graphics card? But saying that My PC is basically brand new. Or do you think it's a problem that can be sorted with the game setttins?
Either way could you please get back to me on this? |

"go blurry" and "not very sharp", unfortunately, aren't as clear as being there and seeing it with my own eyes, of course, but, the way you describe it, it sounds much like something that doesn't have much to do with RBR in game settings.
So it may depend on your hardware and\or software configurations.
You already know RBR was not programmed for Vista, but, to me, these problems you're writing about feel rather unique if compared to issues occasionaly reported by other Vista victims. So, maybe you already wrote about it, but, what kind of pc are you trying to run RBR on? Is it perhaps a notebook? Could you tell us the model and maker of the graphic card or chipset on your pc? Do you experience this kind of visual problems just with RBR or with any other videogames as well? Or, in other words, is your PC generally prone to have problems when it comes to playing 3d games? |

Not to me. What I'm doing here is just suggesting you to investigate the rest of your pc to find the causes of your problems, and to be more detailed when you describe your issues here, to help fellow forumers to help you.
For example, we still don't know what kind of personal computer you have (at least I don't). That can be a crucial factor. Your problems could depend on your graphic chipset or your graphic card drivers. If you have a notebook, perhaps you have some basic graphic chipset not very suitable to run direct3d videogames, even if they're older ones like RBR.
Be detailed in your descriptions. Then most probably it won't be me to come up with a solution for you, but, perhaps, some other more skilled people will.
Remember when you have hardware\software problems, being vague, just puts off people from helping you. |
