Hi!
I've got a problem with the game these days.
I cannot run the game since yesterday.
I haven't installed or changed anything.
When I try to play the game, it returns to the desktop.
In the RBR main folder, there appear 2 new files:
- "CRASHDUMP.TXT" in which is written "exceptionhandler called( VIRGI_2008 12 08-12 49 44.dmp )!!".
- VIRGI_2008 12 08-12 49 44.dmp
I have played with a clean RBR installation and it continue happening.
But I've tried other games such as rFactor and they work well.
Do someone know what's happening?

The two new files you have found are automatically created by the program when the game crash (I see them quite often, due to RBR's crashes/freezes on my PC during some stages or stages replay, but no idea how to solve them).
I suggest to you to add some more details about the issue, like your system specs, O.S., etc., and when you encounter it: in the menu screen, during stages loading, driving in the stages etc., so maybe someone could help you.
But it seems strange to me that nothing is changed in your PC but you have this problem from a day to another (even with a fresh install of the game), so you are sure about no update in audio/video drivers, antivirus or so?
I hope that you can solve this problem. |
