Here is what i come up with each time i try to run more than 22 cars (chassis

() Panic: file.cpp: Can't alloc file "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\Run\PaceCar.car", increase MAX_FILES

This happens with addon mods and tracks as well as original tracks Question

any one know what this is and how to fix it ? What file option do i fix it in ?

I am running the essentials with 1.80 patch on windows XP sp2

There are two options files for Nheat. One in nascer heat folder and one in the run folder. Open up these options files with notebook. Scroll down to the GLOBAL section. Look for pack_size. Mine is set on 42. If yours is lower, change to 42 and save. Thats all i got for you. Good luck. Its a fun game.

He is talking about chassis(body styles)and it is around 20 for the limit in Heat.

Thanks guys i have found that 22 chassis + a game installed pace car is all it will allow even when i set the option files to 42
guess i'll have to live with a 22 chassis field
