This is made by IDT. Stand alone. Download is three separate parts.
It says Champcar Challenge mod. Although this may be the game that never came out.

i'd love to try it out, but i dunno if it's my or vista's fault it crashes as soon as i want to go to track. it didn't go further than intro video at first, but as soon as you hand it admin rights it works fine until then. maybe someone can help me find a solution?  thanks |

That is not the game that never came out, it's a mod by iDT for F1 Challenge. The game was being made by D3 which had iDT, Jester and VGT.
Nascarfreak run the game in compatibility mode.

| compatibility doesn't help either, but it being a mod and not a full version might be the reason why it won't run (i don't have f1 challange). |

This is a stand alone mod, You should not need F1 Challenge.
Another reason I run Win98SE. I do not have any problems.
I was really not sure if this was missing game.even though made by same people. If this is just a mod,it is very large. |

well i was just curious to see what it was like, but i wouldn't go off vista anymore. i wasn't happy having it shipped with my new laptop, but since i started getting used to it it's fine. and all current sims out there (or not yet fully out there  ) are working without any problems.
and yes it is huge and it letting me access the main menu kinda makes me believe it is a standalone... |

It is, this mod was released WAY before iDT even thought about making a ChampCar game.
