In case anyone's interested in rally engineering side of the game, have a look here - some real people overthere

I can see that noone in that thread has tried RBR. Looks like any average driver from this forum knows as much as Bubba there LOL
Ivan, are you registered there? I guess dropping the hint about RBR on that forum equals Insta-Ban but it would be worth a shot. (I can't be ar$ed to register though)

Ahh - I came from there to here because of RBR and as a result of Ivan Spruit's very kind and patient indulgence in helping me sort out some access problems to BHMS.
BHMS is extremely well managed as is 'over there'.
Insta ban is a bit overdone.
And - yes - a few people over there play RBR - but not many - and there is very little discussion about it.
There is a difference - 'over there' people are more into the sport.
Here - people are more into the game.
Not good - not bad - just different interests.
Lots of good people at both locations. Just ask UrQuattro.

That was a beer dosing machine. An anegdote - there was an alcohol test conducted before the rally start in one of recent polish rallies. Guess what - 2 crews were disqualified hahaha, I think I'll torn apart from laughing

i mean about him adjusting the diff settings while driving. i thought he was maybe adjusting break bias. not preset diff setting thingy.

One of the few vids i have found on Richard is one at Tour de Corse in 1999, sorry that i cannot disitiguish the name of this stage. Is an onboard of all the stage with Richard. At a certain moment he seems to try to reach a knob just behind the handbrake in the middle dash. I think he cannot adjust the knob ( i think is a knob) then Robert tries to help him, but it occurs to him just when they going to take a hairpin, worse yet, a hairpin with a change of level in the tarmac. Just in that moment Richards and Roberts hand met each other, and i dont know if that is actually a problem, but Richard seems to momentarly stop and the car got in a akward position that should have made him lost a bit of time. That is one of my favorite vids. since it is 1999, maybe in that case it was a setting for the brake bias. or there was any active diff back then yet??

What do I need to do with set-up to make the car stable when at high speed?
I'm driving Lancia Delta a lot lately, and (on tarmac) it feels pretty good when travelling at low or medium speeds, under braking and in corners & hairpins as well, but as soon as it gets to about 150 kph, it's impossible to control, and I end up off the road.
What should I do?

0slot0_xsbgravel100.lsp is wonderful. Responsive without being nervous. Fun and very controllable.
Thank you so much.
I was into solo/slalom racing years ago. I read Carol Smith and other race car engineering books. I even bought a G-analyzer, back then. I thought I have some ideas on weight transfer and how to do the setup, but in RBR I only managed to make the default Tarmac less nervous by using some toe-in in the rear and made it more stable/understeer by reducing the rear roll stiffness. And I am pretty clueless on the differential and setup on loss surfaces. This setup really enlight me on the direction I should try.
Thank you again.

These are my first setup for Focus 06 for tarmac and gravel. All around it is a very good car. So big THANKS for the creators of this car.
I made small changes to dif setups and suspension. Well, it works for me, don't know if these setups works for others. Anyway the setups are intendend for smooth little bit sideways driving style.

I just looked at the files, didn't drive, sorry, got no time atm. I'd say Gravel handling should be as smooth as claimed. But damper settings could cause issues on bumpy stages. Tarmac setting will be understeery but stable with a bit instability when the road gets uneven or 'wavy'. Didn't get to see the original setups, to compare, but your setups Sir, would have good handling balance as long are the roads are not so punishing like in Cote 'd, Arbroz, Finland or Harwood.
Anyway, those are just predictions. I hope someone else would do better or I hope I'll have time soon to drive this.

Hi
Does anyone here can lead me to a nice consistent setup for the USA Stages
The set is needed for Group N Evo 9.
I got something of my own, but I dont really know how to make sets and I crashed a lot with my set
