Hi guys, I was just looking for a way to get a model back OUT of heat and into max preferebly, but zmod or simedit would be fine to. I have seen the restools, and browsed over them, but coulndt find any way to acctually get the model into a 3d modeling program. I would love to make some improvements on some models. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. |

Well, you need to unpack the .car file using WinResTools. You should end up with a bunch of .mod files which you can import into ZMod. That's it really.

import into zmod, export from zmod, import into 3dsmax - that is the way if you want to have it in 3dsmax. And no, there's no importer for 3dsmax.
