Now that new tracks are possible and Pribram has been released, will RBRNet 4 support modded stages? |

If anyone figures out how to get the new track working in RBNET post here, thanks.

Right now the only way is to replace Cote D'Arbroz with Pribram. That's the one most often used. It's an easy thing to do and more importantly it's an easy thing to UNDO!
Go to ....Program Files\SCi Games\Richard Burns Rally\Maps and open Tracks.ini and change

TrackName = "Maps\track-41"
Particles = "Maps\ps_montblanc" |

Back up the orig Tracks.ini. When you play online, if you don't set up the age of track to New, you will get a CTD (or at least I do). When I host an RBRNet game I name the room "Pribram Rally Cote=Pribram" but I still get brain surgeons who join using Cote anyway (and these people have all spoken English too) despite the room's name.
Let me take this chance to thank Wally and the other modders who created this fantastic track.

Also- thank you Racer_s for RBRNet!
Will the next version have damage carry-over or service? I think that is a whole different ball of wax, but I will ask anyway!
Thanks for your work! |
