Yeah but tiny ones , going 200 thrue a forest , they get hard to read lol.
I wuld prefer KMH since 120mph is the same as 180kmh , but
it feels slower

Hi,
related to that problem you have with Racer_S gauges mod, regardng to crashdump file you've posted it looks like the problem appears in a DLL called:
xfire_toucan_19739.dll
loaded from
D:\Programme\Xfire\xfire_toucan_19739.dll
after a quick Google i found you are not alone:
https://www.xfire.com/xf/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=351218
anyway, without going in details, delete that file from your system and see whats happening. |
He's right, my crash is caused by Xfire's In-Game-Chat. Disabling it (or closing Xfire) solves the problem. It's a really rare problem (hardly ever occurred) but I've already sent Xfire all the logs and stuff they need.

I have the same crash problem but i dont have this software or file in my pc ...
- 1.02.SSE
- XP SP1
- 6800GT 82.46 forceware

Just been playing with the mod and it's superb. Especially helps my approach to hairpins, and I find it easier to detact unwanted lockups than by using the game sound.
Thanks loads for making this. |

Squid, post your crash-dump-files (.dmp-files in your RBR directory with the date of the crash and your computername as the filename). If theres no DMP-File its hard to find the cause. |

I use this mod all the time now and it doesn't even feel like a mod. It feels like a part of the game that was left out and I just found tucked away on the installation cd under /extras folder. It's an awesome mod.
The analogue dials fit neatly into the dashboard on the view I use too so it looks almost like it was made to go there.
Thanks! |

The new version with the volvo gauges has the GPS removed, so get the
new version.
I hope ,by "the thing that shows how the trackis in front of you" you
mean the GPS LOL.

Look up this threat .
Happens sometimes, though I've read it 10 times , I missed that it works
only with SSE.exe I am 95% sure, not mentally retarded
I found out a interesting thing.Installed the tarmac mod , who has 3 exe's.
And RBRdll with them.
If you run "tarmacarcade","tarmacsim" or "defaultRBR" exe you got with the mod , you can have RBRdll and Racer_S gauges.

Hi,
Can anybody help me. I try to get rpm and km/h data from RBR but havent found nothing yet. Played little bit around with RBRTestPlugin sources, but didnt find any glue how to access rpm and speed data. Seems this isn't possible from RBR interface. Maybe this is possible by accessing "known" memory location.
Does anybody know how to do this? How and from where RBR Analog Gauge Mod dll takes is information about rpm and speed?

Any chance of :
1. A scalable option or at least the whole guages to be shrunk to about 70 percent of the size it is now (even on 1600x1200 here)
2. A Template photoshop file with layers for making guage skin
3. A plugin option for screen position (middle / left / right).
Wikes plugin mate

Thanks for making this mod.
It is very useful to use.
One problem I have, though, is that it cuts my framerate by about half.
I have E4300 CPU and X800 video card. |
