hi, i'm started with modeling cars with zmodeer
it's my first time, but i'm further than expected
the first car i want to make is my own rally car, a bmw e30 (the first series)
i've got the blueprints of each side, so no problem.
I've read the whole tutorials available here, and printed them all, so don't say read first the tutorials
But i'm stuck with something. (iem using zmodeler 2.
When u make ure polygons on the weelarch, the tutorials says; use ffd box and move the points until the polys are aligned well.
when i choose ffd box, a ffdbox is created in the list right, but i just don't see it.
my msn adres:
if someone could help me please, i'm a quick learner, and i want to make some cars for the community, but i'm stuck here, searched many hours for this problem, but my braincells won't find the solution :s

Baaahhh forget about ffd.
I never use them. Just move each vertex manually.

yeah, done it, and move them manually.
lol, weird to say, but i'm getting result
but probably more question will follow, just messed about around today with zmodeller, and i'm understanding more the techniques

Thanks to reading this forum I now have the programs i think i need. I went with zmodeler2 as it seems a popular choice. I have 3Dsmax7 aswell just incase.
I went on to read through my first basic tutorial following eddy3spains link. cheers eddy. All I can say is you guys must be very dedicated and I really appreciate all the work that has been done.
Are the same programs used for other games. ie. gtl,gtr and rfactor?

It is posseble to add those models into a RBR track when you make one? If it is, it would be nice addons on the new tracks if we someday will see one.
