What is the status of RBRnet?
Is it available for play right now?
I thoght i read somewhere that the server crashed?
Is a new version being worked on?

Seems to be up.. I have same ISP as Racer_S now and my internet connection has been messed up since the 21st of sept and just got fixed last night. (25th) I don't know if the problem went all the way over there or not. (I'm in Buffalo NY, he is near Albany NY).. I know the problem affected a big part of NY all the way down to PA and further.
But it seems to be up now.

ive started the next version but didnt get far, honestly, ive lost interest..
RBRnet services will stay running till at least 2008
does anyone have any interest in updating this mod?

The possibility to race against "solid" opponents is a very very intersting option, if you can do this... I will be waiting for the tool anxiously!!!

I believe that many ppl still use RBRNet to play online. In my opinion you should finish what you`ve started. I know one thing about programming - it`s no fun when there`s not much succes.
I think that RBRNet is SOMETHING and it mustn`t be left alone to die.
That`s my humble opinion. I`m very greatfull to you for all your work for the RBR community. Whatever you decide, I`ll be backing you up
