Yesterday, when I load up WRC website as part of the daily routine, I saw Richard Burns photo on the front page, its great to see his news again, but this time, somehow I got a sinking feeling...
Yes - Richard Burns had passed away.
When I saw this news and confirmed its validity, I could only feel sadness. I actually meet him twice, during WRC's NZ event. He is a very nice guy.
Rest in Peace, Richard. I won't forget you.

Well, it seem´s this forum is over...
unfortunately there´s nothing else to discuss... the game is great ( except those stupid big falling rocks, that would never be possible, if that hapens in real life, rally was imediately stoped and stage canceled..)
and that´s it, the game is so short that we have nothing else to talk about.
I have at home a poster with the signature of Richard Burns and his co-driver Robert Reid, that will be with me forever... Thank´s Richard, you will stay with all of us forever!!
For all of you guys, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, it has been a pleasure to trade some ideas with all of you, this was the first and the only forum i have entered until today.
see you soon |

PEREIRA, Its great to hear you enjoyed the game I recently played some more WRC4, its handling is quite forgiving but quite enjoyable
by the way, I forgot to check this last time when I borrowed WRC5. Perhaps you can comment on this: Can player pick group B car for championship?
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and everybody!

Hello, Cotas, Championship mode and single rally can be played only with WRC cars and S1600. The other cars, privateers and group B, only in single stage ( some of them, after being unlocked ). |

Hello everyone.
it seem´s this game is over....
what about the next one ? anyone know anything about it ? the name of the game... the developers....
is Evos still the one?
I hope they can be the developers, they have everything to make a superb game....
just take off the falling rock´s, make MORE and LONGER stages and that´s it.... an excellent game !
we don´t need rallycross mode !
Privateers and Group B : excellent, but it was good to have more than single stages
i would like to send a lot of ideas to Evos, does anyone know the e-mail adress so i can send it to someone who can read my ideas?
thanks |

Last year was when their WRC license ended and there has been no news of Sony renewing the license. Evos is currently working on what appears to be a Baja/Dakar style rally game called Motorstorm for the PS3. Other than that I dont believe ANYONE has announced any plans to make another wrc style rally game. |

Maybe Evos will get the licence again otherwise there will be too little time for another develloper to make a decent WRC titel from scratch.... And i must agree with Pereira, they've got everything to make a good rally game (I really didn't like rally evolved like falling rocks, short stages, rallycross, etc etc.) So when you put all the GOOD things from the WRC series together, it will rock big time!!!!! The handling and setup from WRC evolved, the grafics from WRC, stage length from WRC 2&3, ehhh some new and improved pace-notes......AND realtime weather? Chears ... |

What about next WRC game. does anyone know anything about this ?
Is Evos making his development?
I can not hide my expectation about this, i know its too early, E3 is next month and probably we will have something new about this, but i am really curious about this
I would like to be sure that the last disapointement about the length of the last game wil not happen for sure, again.
Ok, i know we still have many months ahead to discuss this.... |

Well, it seem´s there´s no news for this year in rally games....
I read something about Codemasters with a nem Colin McRae series but it´s only for 2007 and for PS3.
Is it possible we have no new game this year ?
I hope this doesn´t hapen....
I think there was nothing about this in E3, in L.A.
Anyone know´s something more ? about real rally games, not about anything like Motorstorm....
Thanks |

Colin McRae 2007 has been confirmed to be on PC as well. A new Sega Rally Revo is in development this time by a European developer so hopeufully that means it will be MUCH better than the crapfest that was Sega Rally 2006. |
