This is first time on sounds topic, but I'm stuck, I want te create the Golf IV TDI-kitcar (diesel car, 250bhp) of Simpson from 1999 British championship. I have model, I have physics, but sounds are not there.
Maybe somebody here could help with this, because i don't know anything about sounds editing.
HDI if you're reading this, maybe ad a TDI (diesel) sound to your collection?

I know that in Austria there are a lot of these cars running... But i haven't seen anybody from Austria over here ...
But if you want a Volvo S40 2,0 TDI or Hyundai Getz 1,5 TDI (3 valve ) sound just ask for it
But as far as i know these cars don't have much different engine sound (only a little muted) than other kit-cars... Hope somebody will be able to help you. Good luck. |

These cars have a very different sound than other Kit Cars, They do a maximum of around 4000 rpm (as compared to 9000 of ordinary Kit Cars)
And there are not a lot of TDI-kitcars out there, I think there is just one, wich is now in Austria and was driven by Waldherr. It's the same car as in GB 1999. (other Golfs all have Petrol engines)
I could use also my own engine sound recordings, but it's not really a rally engine...
But I would be gratefull if somebody could do it. Otherwise I will have to put out just the ordinary petrol Golf kit car (wich isn't too bad either)
