I want to convert some trucks from 1nsane to flatout. is there any sort of tutorial that will tell me how to do this? i.e. dummies, damaged parts, etc. (I already have the 1nsane vehicles in z3d files) Question

Well that's a long answered question. Bascily the easiest way to get the car ready for flatout with all the correct dummies and etc. Is to have a registered version of zmod2 and import a stock flatout car.

Note all the parts names, and material/textures formats & names. Then delete all the parts that you will not be reusing in your insane comversion. Then use the file/merge feature of zmod2 and merge your insane car with what's left of your flatout car (dummies and texture setup) Next rename corisponding parts of your insane car, to match the names of the stock flatout car. Get everything lined up correctly and the exact same layout as the stock flatout car.

Then export it as a bgm and give it a try. Now so you don't get discouraged, I've done around 25 car conversions or scratch built cars for Flatout, and I've never had one work the first try! So don't expect miricles and besure to ask alot of questions, their is a ton of talent in the flatout community, and most are very willing to give some words of advice.

So I hope that gets you started in the correct direction. And if you have any further questions please come visit us at www.flatoutjoint.com
