Redline Developments finally released their long awaited GTP Mod.
Features
GTP is a modification of Nascar Racing 2003 by Papyrus. You must have Papyrus's Nascar 2003 installed with the 1.201 patch in order to install Redline GTP.
Features:
- 4 cars which are the Sauber c9, Jaguar XJR-9, Toyota 88cv and Mazda 787b. Each car has it's own physics
- Each car has its own cockpit, parts and sets of gauges all modeled and placed separate so each looks similar to its real life match.
- Full carset of the real drivers liveries and names from each of these famous cars
- Right hand side drive
- Separate 3d tyres and rims for each make of car that leaves the disc brakes visible thru the rims.
- The driver was also rebuilt so itÂ’s to correct size and shape from original Papy shape.
- New drivers and pit crew textures as well.
- Windshield effects of dirt etc
- A simulated digital tach in mazda to match real life
- All new Spotter sounds.
- Realistic incar sounds for each car which are hardcoded to the car selected
- New ambient ingame sounds in menus etc.
- Working nightime headlights incockpit and outside in all views
- Night time compatible lights and special fx and lit cockpits
- New night time track method with changing sky conditions at each session change
- Ability to run almost any nr2003 track at night with a small patch we can provide.
- Ability to run any nr2003 track in day with a small patch we can provide or will provide info on user changes.
- the game interfaces ... i.e. menus are totally redone and contain some per car details
- full damage thru all Lod's containing falling debris removed quarterpanels and other parts
- AI performances to match the cars (ai support although it works is minimal and will be tweaked in future version)
- full support from the new VROC as the racelist service made famous from GPL!
- And much more...

Launches and then crashes to desktop - never makes it past the loading screen

Incredible job guys. Thank you so much. I'd definitely be interested in the patch that turns any NR2003 track into a night track too.  I love driving a track at night.

| This is the best mod for NR2003 I have played. Exellent work Redline. The artwork is beautiful - particularly when driving at night! And the feeling of the cars and the sounds - all spot on. Great stuff thank you! |

| I have NR2003 but have never installed it or played it. Is this one of those mods that I will need to unlock special physics for or does the installer take care of everything on a new patched install? |
