Here are 26 screenshots from BAR Supercar Mod for NASCAR Racing 2003. This mod will have new physics and will be based on the 2004 V8 championship and include alot of Aussie tracks. The screenshots are BETA and taken at the Adelaide track. More information can be found at the official website for this mod.

First let me say thanks to BH Motorsports for posting the news, I didn't think we would rate a mention on such a well know site, mind you thatss mainly due to the small size we are here in Australia.

UPDATE: 21/09/2004
BAR are happy to announce that Barbagallo Raceway has now been completed for the BAR Supercar package, we have provided a few pictures for our visitors to view and would very much like to hear what their thoughts are on the images. A number of hours went in to the making of this track as well as the support of a number of BAR Testers who provided assistance with 3do, comments and feed back etc.

Firstly let me apologise to all who have been visiting this site for the lack of updated information.
The BAR team has been working hard of late to get this baby ready for all, we can now confirm on the tracks almost complete:
Adelaide, Barbagallo, Hidden Valley, Mallala, Oran Park, Pukekohe, Queensland, Symmons Plains, Bakersville, with possible one other.
Bathurst rework was not possible based on the method used from the original files, Carlos has been fantastic and provided not only his authorisation for changes but assisted with the latest Queensland track. The BAR team have agreed sad as it is to not continue with the rework on the current Bathurst version but will create a complete new version of the track. This however will not form part of the BAR package due to our time restrictions, we will however make this track a priority once we all catch our breath after the release.
We still have a number of small fine points to work through for the mod, damage has now been completed however a very small issues needs to be worked through to give a better finish.
The tests conducted from the open ATR1000 event provided some very valuable information and feed back, those involved in the event all replied saying how much fun the feel of the cars were and found the power great to work with, we are still filtering through the additional comments but all in all this has been very invaluable and our thanks goes out to all involved.
The BAR team continue to move forward with the additional works and like myself look forward to seeing those interested in the mod enjoy what we can offer. As most who know about the V8 Supercars know the paint changes we can see round by round have generated some repaints to try and ensure we are as up to date as possible but as most would agree we have to stop and agree on the skins at some point otherwise we would be looking at a continued change and no release lol
The team are now generating a lowres carset which will be available with the mod so those with lower end machines can still enjoy the mod, the hires carset will be available as an additional download and are named as such so they will replace the lowres carfiles when installed.

The mod has been slowly moving forward and we can now report the task at 90% complete.
We have a number of fine points to finish off, once completed it will be time for the testers to once again go through each and every track to review black flags, online play etc prior to release.
