It's been a long time since it was first started but finally it is done. Since the real IROC cars ran both oval tracks and road courses in 1987, the physics were made to do the same for this mod. Yes these cars handle great on ovals and roadies so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Another release by RJR team. The Honda's run in a support series that delivered some close, fast racing. It was our intention to bring some of that to Nascar Heat, says RJR. It's a single car mod (close competition) with some starting setups provided. The team has had way too much fun with these on the streets of Long Beach, Vancouver, Metro GP, Toronto, Becancour and Surfers. Hitting 137 top speed at Long Beach may not seem like much, but wait till you drift them through the corners side by side! Look out for some special week day and Saturday events coming in these.

After 15 months of development the Group C Sportscar Challenge mod for Nascar Heat has been released.

The mod features some of the most awesome sportscars ever: GT/GroupC sportscar prototypes from the turbo era in the second half of the 80's. These cars were unbelievably fast groundeffect cars, able to go extremly high cornering speeds.

- The mod features 9 GTP/Group C car types that all have been run for at least 2 years in the second half on the 80's
- A total of 29 car paints from IMSA and Group C World Championship races in 1988 comes with the mod. Additional 3rd party car paints from earlier years are available on the download page
- All car types have individual physics, engine sounds and cockpits
- Much more

Templates for painting for all car makes are available for download as well.

Additionally, Group C 2005 online racing series is starting up in 3 weeks' time. You can find all information about the league and its rules on the official site and sign up for the series by filling in a simple form. For those who do not own a copy of NASCAR Heat and would like to try this mod out, there's a one step package called 'NASCAR Heat Essentials' available for download at The MOD Squad which upon the installation will give you an opportunity to play Nextel Heat 2005 without the full game. Neither the add-on nor the 'Essentials' package have tracks provided with them, so, you'd need to get some tracks as well before trying it out. You will find some tracks at the same location where 'Essentials' package is located.

The 2005 Season is here and the "Sprint for the Nextel cup" is in high gear. This 2005 Nextel carset for NASCAR Heat features the 2005 Teams and Paint Schemes along with the new Dodge Charger Body. Goodyear has changed it's look a bit by making the logo larger and brighter in color. The Teams have been busy over the short winter looking for more power and better set ups. The first time around the track you'll notice a bit more punch in that gas pedal!!! There are 50 paint schemes included and a special Player car. Group C Sportscar Challenge MOD for NHeat [21-01-2005 | OA | Comments (1) ]
The long awaited Group C Sportscar Challenge MOD is finally released as a beta.

Group C/GTP
1988/89 all of the most popular and famous cars of Group C/GTP were competing against each other. Porsches still were very competitive, but Jaguars and Nissans were champions, with Sauber C9s advancing to the top.

The era of these cars was ended by FIA when Group C races began to attract more manufactorers and spectators than F1. A change of rule led to development of some of the strangest alien-like racecars ever in 91/92 and to the definite end of Group C/GTP in 1992.

The mod only includes GroupC/GTP cars that have run in 1988 in either Sportscar World Championship, IMSA or some National Championship races. Which are:

Porsche 962C shorttail
Jaguar XJR-9
Sauber C9 Mercedes
Lancia LC2-88 Ferrari
Lola T86/10 Chevrolet (Corvette GTP)
Ford Probe GTP
Toyota 88C
March 86G Buick
Nissan ZX Turbo

The Nissan isn't yet build and thus does not come with the mod beta. As is a Championship mode missing in this release.

The legacy continues. The definitive BriSCA stock car racing simulation has been enhanced once again. 2005 version features more than 50 Formula One stock cars, and more than 30 short oval tracks and comes in a whole new stand-alone package. Includes everything provided in earlier BH versions (and patches), plus a collection of new car models and skins, mostly made by Jeroen Heijmans.This is a very successful division of NASCAR Heat and has a great following.

A brand new DTM mod featuring 2002 Season cars has just been released. It's not an add-on to existing 94/95 DTM mod, it's a whole new project with all new bodies, paints, sounds, physics and of course UI menus and even more. The mod comes with templates for all makes. Cars featured are as follows:

From the creators of the famous & popular Vintage Trans AM mod for NASCAR Heat - Motor City Heat is finally here! Started way back in the year 2000 and unleashed just now in 2004! MOD features muscle cars from the mid 50's up to early 70's, among which you will find Caddy, GTO, Nova, Vette, Stang. Impala, Judge, Camaro and many many more. Almost all cars are converted from "Motor City Online by EA", and yet, most cars have been greatly improved from the originals. Each model has a 3D interior which you can observe with a mouse. The idea was to release MCH as a beater mod, where all cars use the rusty dented cracked and broken looking textures, but at the same time, plain and clean textures are at your disposal as well. There are over 70 paint schemes and counting to choose from (!) (all from MCO plus a few from the creators of MCH). Your job is to customize the mod how you want by downloading easy-to-install drivers info, paintjob files and wheel settings, which are are available for download on developers' site. Or you can just enjoy what's already included with the MOD. Things are still being worked on, new items and updates getting released quite often. There's a forum set up too, where you can leave your comments, questions and even requests if you're lucky enough (!) .

Choose the opponents you want to race against yourself. You can make a field of up to 43 cars on track at a time! Make your own mod, separate mods for each style of paint job, or however you want it, it's possible and it's simple. Motor City awaits you! So dust off that old NASCAR Heat CD and get this thing running. Enjoyment guaranteed!

RJR Enterprises releases Formula Renault 2000 MOD for NASCAR Heat. Another wonderful project from this creative team.
This mod is modeled after the Formula Renault 2 liter cars as run in the Formula Renault European Cup and the United States Formula Renault 2000 series. The cars are open wheeled, carbon fiber chassis using the Renault 4 cylinder F4R engine. It produces 180 HP and 22 MKg of torque.

And remember, RJR never rests! They hope you enjoy the mod as much as they enjoy making it.

Sport Bike Beta MOD for NASCAR Heat Released [09-10-2004 | OA | Comments (7) ]
Something out of the ordinary has just been released for NASCAR Heat. Never before there was a 2 wheel MOD made for this sim, until these days. TEAM PLAYERS have been hard at work once again, but this time they had to deal with absolutely different approach of making physics model. It took much time perfecting the feel of a sports bike, and lots of problems had to be dealt with. Developers were saying it would not be going to be an easy task driving these motor bikes, but after weeks of work they actually made them a lot of fun to drive and feel pretty close to a real motorcycle, and it shows in the beta release. This MOD is work of modding art and and it's a great achievement that a NASCAR game can be turned into a two wheel SportsBike MOD and have leaning AIs!

It's still a beta but it's not clear yet if it ever comes out of beta status. Though TEAM PLAYERS are saying there might be an update if there is any interest.
