Henrik Roos is now the President of a newly formed joint company called SBDT AB. The new company is based in Sweden, and together we are working to secure the appropriate licensing and funding to allow the team to work full-time on a new sim of unprecedented depth and attention to detail. Work is already surging forward in anticipation, and with real funding our previous limitations are a thing of the past. If you loved the work we did gratis, imagine the possibilities with a real budget! Our work will definitely reflect this in all facets of development.

Simbin News [19-06-2003 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
There have been a lot of questions about the future of SBDT and our upcoming releases, and we are going to address those questions, and many of the rumours circulating in our sim racing community. Currently our team is working diligently on a new game that will truly blow you away, and make GT Racing 2002 look like just another mod. We have a slightly changed lineup and our new members are already producing brilliant work. SBDT is better than ever, and burning with a new flame. The attention to detail and realism that you've grown to love and expect from SBDT has only increased. We have been experimenting with new technologies to bring us all one step closer to that racing nirvana we are all searching for, so expect to see some new things that you haven't seen in any racing game to date. We've also taken to heart many suggestions from the community, along with the physics debate that has been going on in this community well before our time. This game will be bigger and better than ever. More detailed, more exacting, more accurate physics, better multiplayer (thanks to the improvements to the engine), and a bigger lineup. While we cannot release the exact details of what we are working on at the moment, an official statement will be issued in a few days, so stay tuned. Trust us, your eyes will bleed with pleasure. It will definitely be worth the wait.

F1 2002 Sports Car Racing Mod Review [18-06-2003 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
All this fun and I haven't even mentioned the other parts of the mod which make it important. It's stunning the work people can do on a computer now-a-days. The 3D models are spot on. I've been around my share of LMP cars and I've been inches from just about every LMP car in this mod and little things I remember are modeled into these cars. Well done, RSDG. What is a 3d model without a paintjob?

F1 2002 - 360 Modena Challenge Mod Released [29-05-2003 | IS | Comments (0) ]
The SimBin Development Team has released another piece of Art : The 360 Modena Challange Mod. According to Ian Bell: Hope you all enjoy it. We feel it makes for some damn fine multiplayer fun!
The delay was due to a few reasons:The work that went in to tweaking the physics and limiting the setup options based on the feedback and advice from real modena challenge drivers so the car handles as close to reality as is possible; Many hundreds of hours of testing, tweaks, retesting, repeat etc. were invested by the Beta testing team and I'd like to thank them for their contribution and dedication; It comes with a new PGM (V1.3) which adds new functionality and a cup-template system to provide a basis for others to make their own one-make add-on series for GTR.
