The International ARCA Sim Series 2010 is going to start their engines!

A.S.S. 2010 Season-Opener. After weeks of preparation and Analysis of the last few Test Race Events, it is now ready to go. The International ARCA Sim Series 2010 (A.S.S. 2010) starts their all new Season on February 12th, 2010 and with an avg. of 30 signed Drivers out of 8 Nations. They are already heating up their engines for their first race at Daytona Intl. Speedway.

All Teams and Drivers are going to race with their own created custom car-skins and will sure be looking fantastic during Live Broadcasting with SimRace.TV. This is still not everything to say but with SimSync.de we are also having a great Partner making synchronization of Game Content as easy as it gets.

TRM was originally set up to introduce new drivers to Online Sim Racing so you will find us a very friendly community always willing to Help out.

Our main aim at TRM is to Provide a Place for Everyone to Get together and to Link through to other Leagues so our Members and Members of other Leagues have a wider choice of places to race, and the opportunity to met new People! TRM is more than just a League - Its a Community, and you are more than welcome to join us.

We mainly run with ARCA Sim Racing which runs on a Tuesday & Thusday Night but we also cater for VHR, Rfactor, GTR Evo, Race 07, GTR2, GTLegends etc

Why not Try Running Your own League at TRM!

On our site you will find "Your Series - Your League" in which you get to run your own league using what ever sim you want (as long as we have it on our server) with help from us setting it up. You get access to the website to manage your own League / admin to your Forum area and an admin password for the sim.

ASR 08 UPDATE 1.04 :: 10-2-09

PHYSICS CHANGES:

1. Daytona and Talladega front-end geometry change to 09 Specs/ Aero changes and slight physics re-work to decrease hyper-sensative buffering in draft
2. Rockingham suspension and physics updated
3. Radial Tires added to Short Tracks - removed Bias-Ply tires
4. Salem physics changed in reference to item #5
5. Limit spring settings on short tracks where users are bottoming out car causing graphic glitch of tires coming through the fenders. These tracks like Salem and Rockingham would not be able to run with these low springs in life so minimum settings have been changed
6. Various front-end geometry changes at ST and INT tracks to comply with 09 specs
7. Pocono Scuffs fixed
8. New wear parameters at Rockingham added for global test...will be added to all tracks and customized for next patch
9. Fixed default gears at MIS for AI

TRACK CHANGES:

1. Toledo, Daytona, Talladega, Salem and Rockingham grip level changes to comply with 09 data telemetry
2. Berlin Pit issue fixed
3. Nashville Access Road Scoring issue fixed
4. Salem - Fixed gate clipping issue
5. Added white line and cones to pit exit and adjusted pit out poly
6. Fixed scoring issue when pitting off backstretch access road
7. Fixed Rockingham laps to 312 (2008 event detail)

SOUND CHANGES/ADDITIONS:
1. Removed outside shift sounds
2. Added PitSound Package provided by Maxx_Power ((https://www.maxxxpower.net/projects/MaxxxPowerAudio/index.html))

TRACK ADDED:
1. ARCA MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY - Formerly Joesville Speedway provided as one of six tracks to be given to TSF.
A. Rebuilt entire infield and scoring loops to allow full field of cars
B. Rebuilt various other items through the track
C. Added Multi-Grooved surface
D. Added Live-Track Technology
E. Various texture Changes

Season 11 begins the first weekend of January and runs to the end of March. Some series have new addons while other series are from seasons long ago and a resurgent Stock Car schedule for both USA and Euro crowds. Once again, hundreds of events already scheduled with many more still to come.

Ever since Electronic Arts bought (stole) the NASCAR license away from Papyrus, racing fans have been looking for the next great stock car simulation. EA's NASCAR SimRacing was disappointing at best, and all the quality sims out there (RACE 07, rFactor, or a Live for Speed) have another focus. So along comes ARCA Sim Racing: a heavily modified version of rFactor that uses a bunch of real-world data and input from real ARCA drivers (including one stunt driver). The developers are obviously serious about the venture, since they bought part ownership in an ARCA team and sponsor the pole award (without a large income stream like larger software developers). Does ARCA Sim Racing fulfill all of our hardcore simulation needs?
