Description: Take this hot red Subaru Impreza WRX to a playground or empty parking lot and she is ready to race. This replica of an actual Subaru racer measures 12 inches in length and has all the hot rod components of the real thing. The dual level radio control runs on a 9-volt battery and is easy for even younger drivers to master. The vertical lever moves the Impreza forward or backward while the horizontal lever turns the car left or right. The car is primed for racing after four hours of charging the 6-volt Ni-Cad battery pack in the included charger or--if you just can't wait--after installing four AA batteries in its underside. The Impreza WRX operates on a frequency of 27 megahertz so for a successful drag race, other cars need to run on different frequencies. This car is not recommended for driving on grass, sand, or carpet, but works well on pavement. --Cristina Vaamonde
