The Author Revealed

This is an outstanding and concise account of Dale Earnhardt's life, the reasons behind his success and popularity. One problem: The author of "The Story Of A NASCAR Legend" (Carlton Books, ISN number 1842224611) is listed incorrectly. Jonathan Ingram (that's me) is the correct author and can be reached at jingram666 at cs.com. Please use the standard addressing method and you'll reach me. I have copies available autographed by the author and I can send a free bookmark made from the Autosport Awards banquet in London in 1996 which shows Dale Earnhardt as the recipient of the Gregor Grant trophy -- the highest honorary award offered to racing participants in Europe.

Dale Earnhardt

This is the most consise account of Dale Earnhardt's success and popularity available among books on the market. As the author, I humbly suggest you change the author's name on the listing to the correct one, because it is the only major error I have been able to locate in the listing. I have never heard of the person incorrectly listed as the author. You may want to double-check with the publisher's representative at Carlton Books' New York office. But above all, please match the book and its ISBN Number (1 84222 461 1) to the correct author, the one shown on the cover: Jonathan Ingram.
