Before you tackle this tutorial, make sure you have installed one of the following paint programs: Paint Shop Pro (Freeware) or Photoshop.
Open your paint program and locate "Pic" folder inside the Live for Speed folder.
To change the skin, you must open base car files which are ttest.raw and FWDtex1.raw.
You can only paint one side of the car, as the game mirrors it to the other side. When you are done painting, save the file and run the game. Use white car when in game and you have your own skin.

WTF, how about open a normal skin ( by GTI would it be XF_GTI)? So you can paint ALL sides from the skin. Just a little tip, dunno how ya make them, but i make it my way... Greetz |
