| Description: |
This mod is primarily meant for online play, there are only Single Player and Multi Player buttons on the main screen. The chassis and body are based on the original SAS Late Model, but NEW PHYSICS have been added. These cars use a single gear transmission to simulate a real Dirt Late Model. Setups for quite a few dirt tracks are included as base sets, and there is an "About" text file in the mod's folder that describes gear selection. The chassis handling is very easy in both Expert and Hardcore mode. There are interchangeable tire and mud plug options also listed in the mod's folder. For dirt tracks that allow for pit stops, the pit crews have actual Dirt Late Model wheels and tires instead of the usual NASCAR Heat default wheel and tire combo. Comparable to the dirt IMCA Modifieds style Heat mods, this mod offers the same enjoyment, with a full body and wider wheels. There aren't many "skins" in the mod, so you can add a lot of custom skins without fear of the game crashing or having a drivers.txt file that is way too long.
