We here at Team Blackhole Motorsports need your help. As you all know, the team puts in a great deal of effort to provide you with the latest news and downloads from the sim racing world. However, all of this hardwork comes at a steep cost. Until now we have been able to maintain ourselves but recent site popularity is making this more and more difficult. Last month alone we transferred over 1.3TBs (thats 1,300GBs) of data. The cost to provide that much bandwidth is expensive and we need your help to keep us going. We are kindly asking our patrons to use the PayPal donate button to make donations. The PayPal donation is a secure and easy way to send your donations directly to Team Blackhole Motorsports. Please help us by contributing a donation so we can continue to provide you with the latest news and downloads from the sim world. |

I thought the subaru 03 was the one modified by Kazhol, Am I wrong? By the way, honestly you could do a bit more. For example: Kubrt released some months ago updated versions of his Fabia wrc cars. And since you put two fabia in this mod, at least you could pick his two latest body models: the 05 and the 06 (the one with the 5 spoke wheels). Well, I spent a few minutes and I did that myself, jsut kept the external_dynamic.dds textures form Kubert packages and the job was easily done. So now I have two slightly different Fabias in the HRC mod, not bad. In general most textures look pretty good, although they're a bit too dark, even compared to the real cars which could be seen in the video included in the package. Subarus 02 and 03 are very dark indeed and have little preshading to try and simulate the metallic paint on their body. While, the impreza 98 actually looks pretty good. It has the best rear lights textures I've ever seen on any skin for this model in RBR. The focus doesn't look bad, just perhaps the blue looks a bit too much like a violet actually. But I did like the particular dither effect on the "blue" paint. With more shiny shaders settings (similar to those you used on the octavia in this HRC mod) like the ones I use (but I use them also on CarGlass and you should really try it and see the difference for yourselves :) ) make it look like carbon fiber rather than metallic paint. Still, it's a nice effect, somehow. Another thing I didn't like very much is, that you made the tarmac wheels texture for the 02 impreza light grey, but then you forgot to paint the corresponding part of the internal wheel in the same colour. SO we have the external part of it painted in grey and the internal part painted gold as usual... All in all, there are some good things to be found in this mod, but in general the quality is a bit lacking. Some cars look better some cars look worse. All the imprezas and the Corolla could look a lot better with lighter windows, the ones you made are way too dark (look the beautiful windows Jicede made for his Corolla here: https://bhms.racesimcentral.net/download/16326 they could be an inspiration for all of your skins). On the contrary a darker and less transparent rear window on the Octavia could help concealing the low quality of its interior model and textures (it has no texture on the internal parts of the doors apparently, they're all white). I sincerely hope you could fix these problems. this mod would be much much better looking with cars that had textures with the quality feel of those made by Rivers, Eddy or Trembaly, just to name a few people that made great looking skins. |

Giorgio262! 1.Yes this is the kazhol 03 impreza. 2. Yes i know that kubrt realeased the new cars, but the 2 fabia skin is ready in 2007 may, and turi and spici use same wheels which i put to the mod. 3. Yes i have a problem with imprezas skin every time. The bigger problem that i make and test skins and cars in 3 computer, and i not see always the correct shineing. 4. I spend a lot of time to make this rear lights. :) 5. The problem is with benik skin, that he has mother-of-pearl metal blue, not normal metal blue. 6. Where you see the internal wheels in the game? 7. Yes jicide glass is pretty good, i want to use my other mods. On the other hand 3 people make the mod, i make my skin, and after check the others skin, i only checking that logos is in correct palce or not. I think lot of people play this mod and enjoy, not notices these small bugs. |

I understand this section is for comments not for debating, still I hope you understand that if I didn't appreciate your efforts I wouldn't have wasted my time writing down such a long comment. 2. Using the two different Fabia versions (just different wheel styles for your purposes) would just help give a sense of purpose to the presence of 2 Skoda Fabia wrc cars in the same carset. Of course that's just my opinion. 3. Usually the textures for the wheels are made of 2 parts: the "face" sometimes (as it is the case for the Impreza 2002) with the design of the wheel on it, and the internal part of the wheel, the channel you see looking through the spokes. This area is usually mapped on the external_dynamic.dds texture, usually on the left of it (look for a vertical stripe with the same colours, more or less, of the wheel). Well, in the Impreza 2002, the tarmac wheels are painted light grey, but you didn't paint the corresponding portion of the internal part of the wheel in a matching colour (possibly a similar grey, but just a darker to simulate the shadow). You may think these are just stupid details, but if so you probably wouldn't waste time checking that all the tiny stickers are correct and put in the correct place like you said you did. That's why I wrote about it, because I thought it was a detail you didn't notice and may be interested in fixing. Also, I'm sorry to say that a lot of people seem to give high ratings and write compliments without even trying the stuff they comment on. Some may actually just take a look at the preview pictures, think "Oh interesting" and post a 10\10 right away. I'm sure you don't want that kind of voters to judge your hard work. You made menu pictures and even a video, that's why I thought you may want useful comments to give you other people's thoughts about what looks good and what doesn't, yet. Yes to have a good skin is important to have all the stikers in the right places, but it's also important to choose the right colours and help the game rendering by pre-shading the skins. Also when you release a full mod with several cars you may want them to look as if they were made by the same person, with the same quality, same kind of preshading, same visual resolution ...and using the same shaders perhaps. What is it with the Octavia? That car has completely different settings for the CarPaint shader. What's the point? Either you do that on all cars (looks nice, also try to apply those setings to CarGlass) or you just give the Octavia the usual CarPaint settings as the other cars in your mod. Thank you for your work, sorry for the long comment, and, well, while using your mod, I'll be looking forward for your next release, which, I'm sure, will be even better :) |

You guys are my inspiration. I'm hoping I could make something close to that but with Kazakh drivers. If you can give me some tips (for example on making the menu because it looks awesome!) I would be very thankfull. |
