Im afraid the cars are too understeering now and less stable at jumps. Its really hard work to get controlled slide. I think the best solution should be a compromise between version 1 and 2. Only my opinion. |

Gaspo is quite right. This new setup takes while to get used to. It will feel understeery due to higher grip, and same reason why it's more difficult to handle in a slide. It's also less stable in bumps due to lower stiffer suspension and damper tweaks to improve braking. Some of the good stuff have to be lessened to get more speed =) |

Well, on tarmac cars ride very nice there. Strong brakes and grip are O.K . in this case, but have you tried wet surfaces? I have used your 2nd setup for tarmac only, have kept your 1st version for others surfaces and I am satisfied. And thank you very much, youve done really good work. |

I've tested S12, Xsara and S9 setups, and in my opinion S12 setups(especially gravel) have really big grip and speed is amazing...but with too big understeering - I've trained much to understand how to drive with these setups, and now my times at the gravel stages are much much better ;) . Tarmac setup is quite good, minus is bit high suspension settings, feeling is very stable but speed isn't as good as on the gravel... but dtaker you have done really good and precious job ;) Thank you. Amazing setup, dtaker! Only now I had the chance to test WRC Setups and i'm very thrilled. I mostly tested Ford, Impreza WRC2006 and Xsara 2005, the last being my favourite RBR car. Especially on gravel and snow, the setup is great. Xsara has a neutral behaviour with a slight understeer tendency, which is very good, realistic...it invites you to drive economicly and efficiently, exactly the way it tends to be nowadays. Over all, it's a fast, stable car, the novelty being also a very good lateral stability, which is extremely important especially on gravel and snow. In other words, a very fast car, stable on the high and medium speed corners, something I immediately noticed during a few special stages that I tested the car on. Thx! |

These are superb setups. You really need to drive neat and tidy, which are the characteristics of modern WRC cars. As much as most of us rally freaks would love a return to the super-sliding mid-90s, that's not the way WRC cars are driven today. These setups really give you the neutral feel that today's cars have. Plus it's easy to eliminate the inherent understeer with a simple flick of the wheel or a quick tap of the brake, as the read me said. Very nice job on these setups! |

Tarmac is almost fine, but gravel & snow have an unfortunate bug, which is in ALL dtaker's G&S setups. This bug is inverted RearSpeedMapFactor. So there are need to fix it by copying more reasonable values from tarmac setup. |
