This altered textures version of Pocono Raceway (Sears Point) contains files that bring the N2K2 version up to current signage and structures that existed at Pocono at this year's Winston Cup race. It also is re-textured with the goal of providing more realistic colors and surroundings of the track as it looks during the month of July. In addition to this, when ever possible, I have attempted to alter the color and hue of the natural surrounding to be more realistic in comparison to real nature coloring. Of course, the degree to which this was successful is in the eye of the beholder. All of the Papyrus "fake" Winston Cup signs and ads for prohibited products have been changed or added to the track, consistent with the real track signage (as much as allowed by the Papyrus signs and placements). In some cases, texture files have only been altered as to hue and color. In other cases, texture files have been completely created from scratch. In all cases, these are altered original Papyrus files and belong to Papyrus (not myself, nor anyone who downloads these files). |
