Racing /Testing Charlotte 1970 1.1 in prep for release, I got bored of the modern, 2005 NASCAR sounds. I needed something more appropriate, so I started to search for car sounds that could be used for free. Sounds are currently based from watching the Grand National Vintage Series at Milwaukee.
What are the sounds like?
- a little quieter than NASCAR sounds, since most engines are 1/2 as powerful, and 1000 less RPM's.
- A more of a muscle car idle.
I suggest you use D3PP so you only use this for certain mods, such as TVC's StreetStock mod and (for those lucky enough) The Pits' Grand National 1970 mod.
New sounds are being worked on with a stronger, more throaty engine.
NOTE: These ARE NOT the sounds that will be included in the GN'70 mod. No help was recieved from The Pits concering these sounds. |
