Formula-SimRacing.net website
[30-09-2008 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
We have spent many hours behind the scene, thinking how to improve the feeling of a simracer. We want to give you, as simracer, a real feeling of solidarity with our FSR league. You will see that we have seperated our old FSR website, which was basically a big database called GPCOS. We will still be using this website, but only for the technical aspects as registrations, login area and all technical news (tracks, mods, updates).

The new website will solely be used as a news website, comparable with sites as https://f1.gpupdate.net/. This site is for you, our FSR members, it will feature rumours, interviews, talks and much more for you to have a greater experience as FSR simracer.

To celebrate the new website, we release the FSR Prizes for this World Championship season. We want to thank our sponsors Act-Labs, and X6 Simulations for their support! Last but not least we want to thank PSR TV for providing our Live Broadcasts!

FSR Live! Turkish GP
[13-05-2008 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
The Turkish Grand Prix made its debut in 2005 at a new track east of Istanbul that won rave reviews. Its layout won lavish praise for managing to combine a modern facility with a series of challenging corners. The FSR drivers are particularly fond of Turn Eight, a double-apex left already hailed as one of F1's best.

The Istanbul Park racing circuit is one of only two circuits of the 2008 FSR season that runs anti-clockwise, the other being Interlagos circuit (used for the Brazilian Grand Prix). The circuit is 5.338 km long, with an average width of 15 m ranging from 14 to 21.5 m, and covers over 2.215 million m². With a total of 16 corners, the sharpest with a radius of merely 15 m, the circuit runs over four different ground levels with a start/finish straight over 650 m in length. The total race distance of the Turkish Grand Prix is 309.356 km over 58 laps.

Are you ready for another great FSR event with entertainment and spectacular racing? Than look no farther; the 2008 FSR Turkey Grand Prix is where its at! The raceweekend begins Saterday 14 GMT with the World Series Amateur race and the last race is Sunday 18.30 GMT with the World Championship race.
